Music
I grew up where there was music everywhere, Elementry school, Middle school, High school, and College. The one thing that impressed and made me wonder was the movement of music and why it was. After studying about it I realized that the sounds of the instruments had a virabration and a motion to it. Like dropping a pebble into a pond the waves of the water incircled out round and around moving through things, either melodically way or haphazardly way which causing violence in a disruptive way. This is in accordance with a physical pattern of what makes up love, life and rage. A disturbance, that can be, to either cause joy, pain or sorrow. The movements of music or sounds can't be stopped, but it can be observed and marvel. Is it to imagin to be enjoyed or destroyed? Let music do the work through sounds. It is and can be a healing jesture.

You are right in your observation about tones and sounds being healing. Yoga and chanting make use of this. The petals of a lotus symbolize our different vibrations in relation to chakras. These energy centres not only have a colour associated with them but they also have an octave of music as well.
When you listen to music you can feel the sound vibration moving through your body.Music and rhythm are life itself. It can stabilise your energy system and serve as a dose of preventative medicine as each cell in your body has the capacity to respond to any sound and to resonate. By the use of this resonance of sound and music the bio-electrical system of the body is strengthened, balanced and healed as your body resonates like speakers connected to a stereo unit.
If you "google" music for health" ou'll find much on this.
